Dr. Albassam's Background
Formal Medical Education
Dr. Albassam earned his medical degree from Baghdad University’s College of Medicine before embarking on a dynamic career that has taken him from residency training in Iraq and Jordan to advanced psychiatry research in the United States. He completed a Family Medicine Resident in Baghdad Medical City. His research experience includes time as a postdoctoral research trainee at The Zucker-Hillside Hospital, affiliated with the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. Dr. Albassam is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc., a member Board of the American Board of Medical Specialties
